MIT's Office of Publications

Project Overview
In most cases you don't have to search far for greatness, as greatness can become the everyday work you are presented with. That was the mind state of the innovative artist/designers of MIT's Office of Publication. Our thesis aims to collect and analyze, in the form of a historical database, the work of MIT's acclaimed Office of Publications during it's active years. Spearheaded by designers Jacqueline Casey, Ralph Coburn and Dietmar Winkler, the office garnered praise from the design and scientific communities alike, pushing the boundaries of their medium and sparking the birth of the American "Swiss International" design movement.
